The recipient of a World Stunt Award and three Screen Actors Guild Award nominations, this stuntman, stunt choreographer, and martial artist is famous for his work with the Jackie Chan Stunt Team.
During his early years, he trained in the martial arts of karate, boxing & kickboxing, Wushu, Taekwondo, Wing Chun, Hapkido, and Aikido. After studying for a time at the Shanghai Institute of Sport, he made an uncredited appearance in the 1994 film Drunken Master III. He met action star Jackie Chan while Chan was in Australia filming the 1997 feature Mr. Nice Guy.
He coordinated stunts in films such as Kingsmen: The Secret Service (2014), I Am Number Four (2011), and Rush Hour 3 (2007) and performed stunts in movies such as The Medallion (2003), Ninja Assassin (2009), and Rush Hour 2 (2001).
A native of Melbourne, Australia, he also lived and worked in China for a time.
He and English director Edgar Wright collaborated on the films The World's End (2012), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), and Cuban Fury (2012).
