Before Fame

With a passion for climbing early on, he began scaling 8c cliffs at fifteen and on-sight 8b+'s at sixteen. He competed in his first major championship in 2001 and continued with European Youth Championships throughout 2002. He earned further recognition in 2005 when he won first place at the Spain Cup Marbella.
