NHL center who was the 15th overall pick of the 2011 NHL Draft, selected by the New York Rangers. After only half a season in the AHL, he made his debut with the Rangers during the 2012-2013 season at the age of 19.
He joined the US National Development team in 2009 and was drafted after completing his two years there. He also spent a season with the Plymouth Whalers of the OHL.
He's played for the USA's junior international teams, winning gold medals at the IIHF World U18 Championship and the 2013 World Junior Championships.
