About

American producer, founding member of the Filmation studio, and executive producer of a variety of cartoons. He is most recognized for his work on the 1983 series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe as well as the 1979 Flash Gordon series.

Before Fame

He graduated from Carnegie Tech University with a bachelors degree in Fine Arts. He first began his work producing with the 1966 series The New Adventures of Superman. He would go on to provide voices, musical scores, and continue producing for a variety of series including He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and Bravestarr.

Trivia

In addition to his producing and voice acting he also worked as a director and is known for collaborating on the 1963 television series Rod Rocket and the 1963 television short His Mother Marveled.

Family Life

He was married to Jay Scheimer until her death in 2009. Together they had a daughter named Erika and a son named Lane.
