Growing up in San Pedro, he began skating the local parks and increasing his skill. He found his style at the DIY spot Channel Street which became an outlets for him to express himself. His skating caught the attention of Mark Gonzales who placed him on the Krooked team roster where he would later turn pro. He would go on to compete in several international pro competitions such as the Copenhagen Pro and the Tampa Pro.
