Swedish chef who is known for his diverse cooking styles ranging from molecular gastronomy to open flame cooking. He is known for his popular restaurant Ekstedt and for also having his own cooking show Niklas Mat. He shares additional pictures of his cooking to Instagram for his over 60,000 followers.

Before Fame

After training for several years, he opened his first restaurant at the age of 21. At 33, he began to question his style of cooking before having the idea of a restaurant where raw ingredients are cooked over an open fire. He then opened the restaurant Ekstedt, dedicated to cooking before the advent of electricity, in 2011.
